EXTENSA IS COMMITTED TO CREATING communities.
Ongoing projects include larger suburban residential communities, mixed use developments and urban regeneration.
Tour & Taxis (Brussels), Cloche d’Or (Luxembourg) and Bomonti (Istanbul) have become our reference projects. But we operate in a large number of cities and town, sometimes in partnership with private or public partners.
Extensa’s success is based on almost one hundred years of sustained integrity, respect for all stakeholders and an obsession for quality and creativity.
Extensa Group is owned by Ackermans & van Haaren, a Belgian diversified holding, listed on Euronext and part of the Bel20 index.

Tour & Taxis welcomes Publicis One
The Hôtel des Douanes, built between 1902 and 1907, has been chosen by Publicis One to become its home for inspiration and creation. Publicis Groupe announced the creation of Publicis One in May 2016. Its aim: to gather knowledge and expertise of all the brands under one roof.Publicis Groupe had been looking for a location that would be geographically central and easily reachable from Antwerp and Ghent.260 of its team members, working across its 10 agencies, succesfully moved into the Tour & Taxis site in January 2017.
Bâloise acquires Herman Teirlinck
At the end of 2016, Extensa Group reached an agreement over the sale of its shares in NV VAC De Meander. It is the owner of the Herman Teirlinck Flemish administrative centre under construction in Tour & Taxis (Brussels). The buyer of these shares is the Swiss insurer Bâloise, together with its Belgian, German and Luxembourger subsidiaries. Before this sale, Extensa already took over the 49% shares that were owned by Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen (PMV) in NV VAC De Meander. The new VAC in Brussels will accommodate around 2,600 Flemish civil servants, who already work in offices in the Northern Quarter. The proximity to Bruxelles-Nord station was an important condition for awarding the public contract launched by PMV on behalf of the Flemish Community in 2014.The project was also the catalyst for Extensa to buyout other shareholders of Tour & Taxis at the beginning of 2015. Extensa received planning permission in January 2015 and the building is scheduled for completion in mid-2017.
